With Excel 2007, Stored Model feature and Time Series-Smoothing in some files would take a long processing time and would create huge file sizes. This has been fixed. 2. System Error Message for Classification routines has been made more descriptive. 3. Removed MSFLXGRD problem for Windows Updates that caused the modAFuncs compile error. 4. VBA error for Portuguese Excel is eliminated. 5. Validation error messages in Time Series and k-means Clustering are corrected. 6. Variable type in stored model sheet is made more descriptive. Known Bugs: -------------- 1. Classisfication methods take a longer time to produce output for very large datasets (greater than 10,000 rows) in Excel 2007. 2. Several XLMiner dialogs have a Data Range control to mark data. Clicking the button on its right lets the user select the range with the mouse (as distinct from typing-in the range). When the mouse selection is used, a further keyboard editing of the range can cause a malfunction resulting in terminating the Excel instance. Excel restarts thereafter. The remedy is to avoid using keyboard entry on the Data Range control if the mouse selection was used. You can Cancel the current operation and reopen the dialog. This is a known bug with the Microsoft RefEdit Control, and we are working to resolve this problem. 3. Collinearity Diagnostics displayed only upto 81 in Mutiple Linear Regression and Logistic Regression. For number of Collinearity Components = 2, output displays additional 2 components with stars. 4. Sometimes for large data, Prune Log Output for Regression Tree is not shown properly. 5. Remembrance of selected variables is not given for Charts. *** End of document ***
